We managed to get everything together at the last minute and release this animal we've been taming for the last 6 months.

We really wanted to release just before or on Christmas Day as a pressie for all the members, but some last minute testing revealed some ugly bugs that we just didn't need, so we decided to wait and fix them first.

WizZilla is a GUI front end to PRL's getWizPnP. It allows you to queue up recordings you want downloaded from your Beyonwiz and download them.

Some of the benefits of using it instead of WizFX are:

• Resume downloads
• Queue up downloads
• Begin watching the downloaded file as soon as it starts
• Estimated download time for current file

Matthewc, on the Beyonwiz forums, armed with PeterU's guess on where it might be and an oscilliscope, successfully hooked up to the 4 pin header using a TTL level converter and was able to get the output.

PRL has released an awesome Perl Script that works with WizPnP. This little OS independant gem lets you list and download recordings from your Beyonwiz via the command line and is the first of it's kind to offer non-windows users an application to access files on the Wiz. I'm sure there are more to follow.
