I am hosting this project for Rygle who has developed this script.

From the forum, this is a description of what it does:

Here is v.2 of my Windows batch file to find Toppy FTP servers (ftp4t or ftpd-topfield) on your local net and connect to them. I hope you find it useful.

It's main use is when you get your server IP via DHCP, like with Damn Small Linux's live CD. My hope is that this can help get a Topfield DSL live CD off the ground. All we need now is to get the ftpd-topfield binary into a mydsl package and to get this and the mydsl package in folders, "toppyscan" and "mydsl" respectively on the root of the CD.

As before, any comments welcome, but I'll be away from Monday until Friday next week and probably flat a bit after that too, so don't expect much for a while.

Also, if anyone would like to adapt this (or write something new) to work on Macs or Linux, that would be a terrific help towards a Toppy DSL live CD. Obviously you wouldn't use AngryIP/IPScan (unless you want to compile from SVN), but maybe nmap would work on those platforms??

What's Needed
You still need the same files - ipscan.exe, the ftp_detect.dll, and the following saved as ipscan.reg

Note: - these files are included in the setup, so no need to download them
